Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 specs outed by TENAA


Just yesterday the Redmi Note 5 appeared on TENAA listing, but only released the image of the phone. Now the entire specs sheet has been published on the certification site.

The Redmi Note 5 will get a major design change, especially the front panel, when compared to Redmi Note 4. However, the specs sheet will get a minor upgrade. 

In terms of design, the Redmi Note 5 will have slim bezels than than Redmi Note 4, but not entirely near bezeless like the vivo V7+, Micromax Infinity or Honor 9i, as it has bezels on the sides. The rear side is still the same, and you'll find the single camera, dual-tone LED flash and fingerprint scanner. The listing also reveals that Redmi Note 5 will be taller, but slightly narrow and a bit slimmer than the predecessor.

Coming to specifications, According to TENAA, the Redmi Note 5 will feature 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and powered by 2GHz octa-core processor, which is likely to be Snapdragon 6xx series chip. It will come in two RAM/Storage variants: 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. The storage is expandable via microSD card.

It will sport 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5MP front facing camera, while a 4000mAh battery will run the show. Connectivity features are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-SIM support and GPS.

The Redmi Note 5 will come in a variety of colors including Black, Rose Gold, White, Gold, Blue, Red, Pink, Silver and Grey, and is expected to break cover in November.
