Android Excellence collections highlights the best apps and games of Play Store

Apple recently overhauled its App Store with a new design that makes discovering apps and games easier. Now Google has added a new category to the Editor's Choice section of the Play Store called Android Excellence that highlights the best games and apps.

Android Excellence is divided into two collections: apps and games, and according to Google the collections will "deliver incredible user experiences on Android, use many of our best practices, and have great design, technical performance, localization, and device optimization."

The apps and games collection under Android Excellence will be refreshed every quarter. The inaugural list consists of 32 apps and games (16 each).
